The accuracy of Cristiano Ronaldo and Bale has put Real Madrid ahead of Granada, Valladolid and Barcelona, who have scored two free-kicks each. Cristiano Ronaldo, with three, and Bale, with two, are the Whites' free-kick specialists.

The team first found the net from a free-kick in the 2013/14 Liga in the 2-1 victory away to Elche, and Cristiano Ronaldo scored it. The Portuguese striker, who has scored three direct free-kicks and is also the most successful free-kick taker in the league, scored another one in the Bernabéu against Real Sociedad and in the last match against Sevilla. Bale has also demonstrated his ability with a dead ball with goals against Sevilla at home and on the road to Betis.
