The world witnesses Bale's incredible goal

As the Milan boss, the Italian manager went up against the Munich side on six occasions, winning four and drawing two.
Carlo Ancelotti has good memories from his matches against Bayern Munich. The Madrid manager has faced the Germans on six occasions, all during his time in the Milan dugout. His record is exceptional: four victories and two draws. Curiously, in both the seasons he won the Champions League he went up against Bayern.

In 2002 Ancelotti met the Munich team in the group stage. Milan won both matches: 1-2 in Germany and 2-1 at home. In the 2005/06 campaign, the two sides met in the Champions League round of 16 and the Italians made it through thanks to a draw at the Allianz Arena (1-1) and a thrashing in Milan (4-1). Finally, the Madrid manager overcame Bayern with a 2-2 draw and 0-2 win in the quarter-finals of the 2006/07 Champions League.
