Real Madrid are awarded for their 28 consecutive wins

Eduardo Portela presented Florentino Pérez with the award to honour Laso's team for their fantastic winning streak in the League.
It was a day of recognition for Real Madrid as they received a framed picture for recording 28 consecutive victories, a historic record in the basketball league. Eduardo Portela, honorary president of the ACB, presented Florentino Pérez, the Whites’ club president, with the official recognition during the break. Laso’s squad won their first 27 matches this season, which together with the fifth playoff match in the 2012-13 Liga Endesa, completed a run of 28 victories on the trot. The streak means that the team has broken the ACB league record for consecutive victories, which was set in 1984-85.
