The lowdown on Milan's Mediolanum Forum

Real Madrid have won their last two visits to the court that is playing host to the Final Four, with a capacity of 12,500 spectators.
Milan, one of Europe's most basketball-mad cities, is the venue for the Euroleague's Final Four until 18 May. The Mediolalum Forum, home to the EA7 Emporio Armani team, will be the setting where Real Madrid will attempt to claim their ninth European Cup, an arena with a capacity of 12,500 spectators which last hosted the final in 1966.

The Mediolanum Forum, formerly known as the Fila Forum, Datch Forum and Forum de Assago, is a 40,000 square metre sporting venue located in the Italian town of Assago, on the outskirts of Milan. In addition to hosting the 1966 basketball European Cup final, which Olimpia Milano won, it has also held the Ice Hockey World Championships (1994) as well as numerous music concerts.

Record on this court
The Whites have already tasted victory on this emblematic court, which belongs to Italian's most successful team. Since the Euroleague began, Real Madrid has played here on three occasions, winning two and losing one. Earlier this season, Laso's men beat the Milan side 71-78 on matchday 8 of the Group Stage, with Rudy Fernández notching up 16 points and getting a PIR of 26. Madrid's other victory (65-72) here came during the 2011-12 season, when the White's current pivot Ioannis Bourousis played for the Italians.
