Castilla have completed their first training session

With Zidane at the helm, the reserves have started their preparations for the 2014/15 season.
Castilla’s 2014/15 season is underway. After a visit from Ramón Martínez at Ciudad Real Madrid, the players completed their first training session of the season on pitch 3. The Whites reserves will be managed by Zinedine Zidane and his assistants David Bettoni and Santiago Sánchez.

Castilla will be training all week with the Real Madrid C squad, with the exception of the players who have come up from the Juvenil A team, who will join the second reserve team next Monday, 21 July.
THE FIRST FRIENDLY WILL TAKE PLACE ON SATURDAY 26 JULY AGAINST GUADALAJARA.
The players started their first day’s work with a 10 O’clock session that began with an intense warm up and various stretches with the physio, Diego Muriarte, before dividing into four groups for some ball work. The keepers worked apart from the group with goalkeeper coach Roberto Vázquez.

Castilla will play the first of six confirmed friendlies on Saturday 26 July. The match will be against Guadalajara at Ciudad Real Madrid. On Tuesday morning the players will undergo a medical and in the afternoon they will have their second training session of the week.

Wednesday, 30 July: Castilla - Real Madrid C.
Saturday, 2 August: Cultural Leonesa - Castilla.
Saturday, 9 August: Zamora - Castilla.
Wednesday, 13 August: Castilla - Alcorcón.
Saturday, 16 August: Leganés - Castilla.
