Signings for the 2014/15 season

Toni Kroos, James Rodríguez and Keylor Navas will bolster the Real Madrid squad for the 2014/15 campaign. The European champions have signed three of the star performers from the World Cup in Brazil. The German won the tournament with his nation, the Colombian won the Golden Ball and the Costa Rican goalkeeper led his side to the quarterfinals for the first time in their history. Toni KroosAs a central midfielder he is known for his leadership abilities and his knack of making the best decision in every situation. As well as having fantastic vision to help set up his teammates, he also has a great strike of the ball and is extremely accurate with free kicks and corners. Additionally, his versatility allows him to play effectively in the centre of midfield as well as behind the front men.

Real Madrid has signed a winner, who as well as lifting the World Cup finished the season out by winning the Bundesliga, the German Cup, the Club World Cup and the European Super Cup. He scored two goals and provided four assists for Germany during the country's seven matches in Brazil.

Keylor NavasHe is quick, has great reflexes, always positions himself well and is one of the best in one-to-ones; Keylor Navas has everything it takes to be an exceptional keeper. He demonstrated it in Brazil, where his saves took Costa Rica to the quarter finals for the first time in history.

His true arrival came last season: he made more stops than any other keeper in La Liga (160) and had the greatest percentage of saves of anyone who played more than five matches (80.1%). Having conceded 39 goals in 37 matches, he helped Levante finish the season in fifth place on the table for the fewest goals conceded.
